After changing the color and darkening the shadows, hubby Buster's suggestions, with shapes and highlights ,were beneficial.
always good to get a new "eye" and a fresh perspective, after working so long on the same painting. Thanks, Bus...

I really like the finished product after talking it over with Buster! (Well, you live in MO and at least it isn't BJ or tiny or something!)
So much less flat and more filled with living! I really like the second one after talking with Buster.
Of course, I talked with my brother in NE last night and his name at nearly 70 is still Cricket to me! Who am I to comment. Picture me shrugging and grinning.
Thanks, Mary, He's been Buster since he was 2 or 3 years old. His Dad's name is the same as his, so they started calling him Buster because of some baseball player. It's amazing how those things STICK, once you start them.....
