I've been looking at this too long. HELP- can anyone give me some constructive advice ?
Do I need to change the background color? How about the values? enough contrast? Be honest and tell me what you think. I can't tell anymore, my eyes are weary...... thanks in advance!!

Over from the Yahoo group! I love your painting! My first impulse (even before I read what you wrote) was to change the background color. I think that might just make the face stand out more or liven up the whole pic a bit. But all in all it's beautiful! You are very talented!

I like it! I agree that the background should be changed, but I think you also need to mute the pink on her cheeks. That's the first thing my eye zeroed in on. Her amazing eyes seem lost to the pink in her cheeks.
